Given the recent events at Sea World, we’re not so sure we’d want to take our families to Robot Land. Nonetheless, some folks in Korea have big plans to build one. Hailed as a Magic Kingdom for robots, it will be part of a giant residential and industrial complex in Incheon, one of South Korea’s largest cities and a major transportation hub. Expected to be completed by 2014, the robo-theme park will also house education centers, a water park, experience zones (such as a robot battle stadium), exhibition halls (robot museum), a stadium and various corporate facilities. Of course, they’ll be no shortage of gift shops and shopping centers. For what’s an attraction without a gift shop?
