Nobis Hotel, Stockholm

Inspired by Scandinavia’s capital, the recently completed Nobis Hotel is the kind of eclectic mix of modern design in a classical space that we can’t help but pass along. Located in the heart of Stockholm, architects Claesson Koivisto Rune were faced with the challenge of both restoring and re-designing two adjacent 19th century buildings from original residential apartments. The results are contemporary yet timeless spaces filled with bespoke furniture and art designed especially for the hotel’s 201 rooms and shared area. Each space, from the lobby to lounges, corridors to rooms has its own unique identity which ranges from the quirky to extravagant. Influenced by the capital city and surroundings, custom designs mix with vintage pieces, and are set out in playful style. From cactus’ to model cruise ships and animals, the hotel invites guests to explore the various environments, characters and moods set to each room.
