Modern society has evolved to a point where you can pretty much have anything done without the need to even get out of your home. Or in other words (at least for some people), everything has become incredibly boring.
There is no danger anymore. A major part of human evolution was figuring out how to survive against Lions. But now that instinct lies dormant. Nothing that gets our pulse rising anymore.
Now I deal with this by watching a horror or an action movie (from my couch where it’s safe). But for those of you who want to push their boundaries, get their adrenaline pumping- might I suggest checking these places out. We have listed 6 exhilarating adventure tour spots around the world.
Belize – Snorkeling
Belize is home to the second longest barrier reef in the world which runs across the whole country. This means that you can have a great place pretty much anywhere. But you want some adventure, head to Shark-Ray alley where you can swim with, well, sharks and rays (and dolphins and turtles). Or if you want some place exotic, try the legendary blue hole.
Moab, Utah- Mountain biking, Rock climbing
If you are unsure of what exactly you want to do on your adventure tour, give Moab a try. The Swiss army knife of this list, you can go on 4X4, rock climbing, BASE jumping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, you name it. Fun fact – Moab has been featured in over 50 movies, including the climbing scene in Mission Impossible 2.

Have you ever wanted to go around chasing wild carnivores? Congratulations, you’re a crazy person. But more importantly, you’re a lucky crazy person, for Prince Albert National Park in Canada offers winter tours for tracking wild animals including wolves.
Okay, it might be a little more tame than chasing after a wolf by yourself, but this way, you won’t, you know – die.
Inca Trail, Peru- Trekking
If you want to add an element of history and awe inspiring nature into your adventure, consider trekking down the Inca Trail. It’s almost the same distance as a marathon, but within that area, you have to get through mountains, tropical forest and ancient tunnels to reach the legendary lost city of Machu Pichu.
Victoria falls Zambia/Zimbabwe – River rafting
Stairway to Heaven, The Terminator, Oblivion, The Washing Machine, Judgement Day, Devil’s Toilet Bowl and Oblivion. These are the official names the Zimbabwe tourism website gives for the rapids.
