The Steampunk World’s Fair

This past weekend in New Jersey, a three-day expedition into yesterday’s future took place. The Steampunk World’s Fair is an interactive and social event for people of all levels of steampunk know-how. Steampunk culture blends technology and romance, art and fashion, history and music, fiction and gaming. It’s a sub-genre of science fiction and speculative fiction, frequently featuring elements of fantasy. Still not sure what Steampunk is all about?  These photographs from the event, courtesy of Kamila Harris Photography, should help makes some sense of the mysterious sub-culture.
