The Corinthian Club, Glasgow
When it was built back in 1842, The Glasgow Ship Bank was one of the city’s most elaborately ornate buildings. While it was refurbished in 1999, The Corinthian Club has recently re-opened, following another grand makeover. The club’s latest restoration boasts contemporary elegance and includes a gaming room with exquisite glass balconies that overlook the casino. The designers found a way in incorporate modern design, despite the building’s inherently decedent glamour, making it a must see.
