Snow-Covered Chicago – Photography
Chicago is a great city. But if you’re thinking about visiting in winter, these photos might make you think again. While pretty much the entire country has been covered in snow at some point this winter, the Blizzaster dropped a record breaking 23 inches of white stuff last week. It fell over the course of 35 hours. If that wasn’t bad enough, the Chicago area was under a wind chill advisory soon after, with temperatures plummeting to single digits or 30-below with wind chills. Through it all, photographer Paul Octavious was brave enough to step out into the bone chilling cold to show the rest of the world what he and his fellow Chicagoans were going through. These photos were taken around his neighborhood the morning after the blizzard.
