Hotel DeBrett – Auckland, New Zealand

Built in 1841, as one of Auckland’s first hotels, Hotel DeBrett has recently been revived. Now finding itself in the heart of Auckland’s super-hip fashion district, the Art Deco space boasts many of its original features. The deliciously wooden-panelled Housebar has been restored to its former glory as one of the city’s premier spots to be seen, and contemporary New Zealand cuisine is on offer from the kitchen.
