Disney iPhone Apps
With an app for virtually everything, it’s no wonder that there are several that aim to make your trip to the happiest place on earth even happier. Disney Parks even created their own app late last year. Mobile Magic is available to Verizon customers ($9.99 for 180 days) and offers FASTPASS return times, attraction wait times for the park you are in, extensive information on character locations and more. The app will work for both Disney Land and Disney World Theme Parks, as well as Epcot, Hollywood Studios and other related parks.
With so much to see and navigate, several other companies have also developed apps for visiting Disney Parks. There’s Mousewait, a free app that offers wait times for both Disneyland and California Adventure. Upinpoint offers a full range of iPhone friendly, theme park maps, including – a WDW Maps Box Set and a Mini Magic Kingdom Guide. The WDW Trivia App can be a great tool for keeping kids busy on the way to and from the park. They can test their knowledge about the theme park…possibly saving you from a few less “are we there yets.” Disney World Dining will help you navigate the dozens of restaurants at the Orlando theme park, providing details, reviews, menus and maps.
So before you pack your bags and head to either Disney Park, be sure to check out the available apps and choose the one that best suits your adventure. With a smart phone and a few dollars, you’ll be able to ditch those paper maps and guides and navigate the parks 2010 style.
