9h Capsule Hotel – Japan

9h Capsule Hotel – Japan

When visiting Japan, you expect to come in contact with some of the coolest things in the world. Cutting edge technology,  ahead of the curve fashions and awesome vending machines that house anything and everything, are just a few of the wonders visitors encounter. Capsule hotels are another. These unique lodging options are just a little bigger than a coffin, cost around $30 a night to stay and include all the conveniences one could ever need. 9 h (nainawasu) is a new capsule hotel that offers luxury in a minimum living space. Designed by Fumie Shibata of design studio s, the hotel is 9 stories tall, hosts 125 capsules, locker rooms, showers and a lounge. The 9h Capsule Hotel is named that because you’re only supposed to stay there for nine hours. Props to you if you can handle more than one.
