While Marriott, Ritz Carlton, and Hilton are familiar names for hotels, smaller lodgings and boutique destinations often aren’t attached to a larger chain. Using words like “Inn” or “Bed & Breakfast” is also commonplace. Then there are some hoteliers who go a different route.
