12 Restaurants with the Best Views in the World

We shared a few of the world’s best rooftop bars, but having a breathtaking view doesn’t always mean you have to be at the highest point possible. The Daily Green recently presented a list featuring the 12 Restaurants with the Best Views in the World…because of course eating is only half the fun of dining out. Soaking up the scene, the scenery and being seen makes up the rest. So put your feet up and enjoy a few of our favorites from the drool-worthy list.

Dine at Peaks Restaurant in the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and treat yourself to bodacious views of the California desert and glittering city below.

Overlooking Mt. Vesuvius and the Italian coast, Albergo Lorelei et Londres is a small hotel and restaurant with a view that it anything but small.

Enjoy the sea breeze while dining at the Beverly Hills restaurant, a popular spot in Koh Samui, Thailand. With tables so close to the beautiful waters, we can’t help but image that guests feel like they’re actually resting on the sea.

Cite Restaurant is a Chicago institution, due in part to its 360-degree views of the skyline and Lake Michigan, from 70 stories above Lake Point Tower.

Read the rest of list and find your favorite restaurant view at The Daily Green.

    Costa Rica – Vulcan Arenal.

Dining at night while red hot lava rolls down the volcano or pops out the top like fireworks and the earth moans and groans…beneath you. http://www.hotelarenalkioro.com/restaurant.htm
