The Art Cars of Burning Man
Started in 1986, Burning Man is an annual art event and temporary community based on radical self expression and self-reliance. Held in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, Burning Man does not have a single focus. Features of the event are subject to the participants and include community, artwork, absurdity, decommodification and revelry. The 2010 event featured over 70 new art cars — including a ramen noodle cup, a cooler, spacecrafts, dinosaurs and more. The images of these amazing works come to us courtesy of The Jailbreak.
