Indonesia’s island of Bali has long been a favourite with visitors, famed for its strong sense of spirituality that is different to one the other islands, beautiful white sand beaches, spas, night life, lush green scenery, and more. To add some luxurious touches to your stay in Bali, why not try some of these suggestions:

Wine Tours and Tasting

Bali has some lovely vineyards and wineries, perfect for sampling wines that have been produced using the locally grown grapes. Tours typically take in the mountain scenery before visiting a winery for a demonstration about pressing the grapes and producing the wine. You will have the chance to taste some local wines, and some tours also include a sumptuous lunch. Hatten Wines is a top choice.

Coffee and Tea Tasting

Staying on the tasting theme, you can also enjoy a trip around the leafy green tea and coffee plantations along with a tasting session. You will have the chance to try one of the most expensive coffees in the world – Luwak Coffee. Made using the “help” of a civet cat you will probably be part intrigued and part repulsed when you learn how this speciality is made.

Bali’s beaches are ideal for relaxing on the soft white sands, swimming in the ocean, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the views. Many beaches can get very crowded though, so if you’re looking to enjoy bliss in relative peaceful solitude, check out Perasi Beach, Amed Beach, and some of the private beaches. At the beach clubs you can enjoy being waited on as you enjoy the seaside life.

Take a trip to the gorgeous nearby island of Nusa Lembongan or enjoy a delightful sunset dinner cruise around the coast – there are so many ways to enjoy luxury in Bali!
